Head monkeys not chattering

Just putting one step
in front of another.
Goat toes saving my bacon,
an occasional snow
plow to dodge.
Wind brings down
big plops of puffy snow
hitting me like a nerf
mortar.
Takes 5 minutes to
shuck winter attire,
hot coffee warms
my hands.
