Cold wind

This morning blows
the stink right off ya.

Left wondering

Late dusk and a bike
is coming towards me
still a ways off.
Bike pulls over then off
the bike path.
By the time I am along
side I can see the bike rider
about 15 feet off the path
behind a tree. First I thought
they needed a little privacy
for some personal business,
but then they came out from behind the tree
with a flashlight in their
hand, searching for something
on the ground.

Lots of squawking

taking place.

1) Fresh road kill on Wiggins Ave.
2) Whats up with the ravens and
all their "Nevermore" crap.

Primal pleasure

The end of daylight savings time
has tied my schedule of
walking home from
work
to the celestial event
of sunset.
During which time
I am able to breath in the
deepening twilight.
